he Sirwisa Am-Pro is a twist on traditional Pro-Am (commercial brewers inviting home brewers to commercially brew). Home brewers invited commercial brewers to homebrew a beer for the event. The event will showcase these small batch collaboration beers from home and commercial brewers. All the brews this year will feature Admiral Malt California's first floor malting facility in California since pre-Prohibition and California's only CCOF certified malting operation as well as Cultures from Giga Yeast the Bay Areas Premium Yeast Source creating uniquely hyper local brews for the event.

Sirwisa Am - Pro Hops for Housing was the first ever registered Homebrew event of SF Beer Week in 2014 competent home brewers are carefully selected and paired with a pro brew partner to brew experimental and traditional beers.

All proceeds benefit Family House, an independent non-profit organization providing temporary housing, physical comfort and emotional support to families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
